Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy explains what Outreach (“the Service”, operated by Sidequest Labs) collects, why, and the control you have over it. Plain language, no dark patterns.
What we collect
Google profile. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. That's all we request from Google — nothing else.
Your Gmail App Password. To send email from your own inbox you connect a Gmail App Password. We store it encrypted and use it only to send the messages you compose. We never use it to read your inbox.
Your outreach data. The contacts, templates and campaigns you create in the Service.
What we do NOT do
We do not read, scan, or store the contents of your inbox.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your contacts with anyone.
We do not send email on your behalf except the messages you explicitly compose and send.
How email is sent
Messages are delivered through your own Gmail account over Google's SMTP, authenticated with the App Password you provided. They appear in your Gmail “Sent” folder and replies come back to you directly. We are a tool that operates your account on your instruction — the sender is always you.
Your controls
You can revoke the App Password at any time from your Google account. That instantly and permanently cuts our ability to send — nothing else of yours is affected.
You can disconnect your mailbox or sign out from Settings at any time, which removes the stored credentials from your session.
To request deletion of any data associated with your account, email us and we'll action it.
Security
Credentials are encrypted at rest and only ever transmitted over HTTPS. The sending service is access-controlled and stores nothing — it relays your message and forgets it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
